| Effective
Presentations Training |
The ability to deliver an effective
presentation is an essential skill. Yet many sales, analyst and other business
presentations fail to achieve their desired result: getting people to listen
to, hear, understand and act on (i.e., learn something, change a view about
something, buy something - a product, service, idea) what was said.
Effective Presentations Training
is a one-day, interactive workshop to help you identify your strengths and
weaknesses as a communicator, helping you build on your strengths, while
reducing or eliminating your weaknesses.
Benefits of
Attendance
Thousands of business and other professionals have turned
to The Ammerman Experience in order to improve their communications skills.
Effective Presentations Training focuses on what for many people is one of
their most challenging tasks - speaking in front of groups.
In this
small-group (maximum five persons), one-day session, you will learn:
| ° |
|
How to prepare, practice and deliver an effective
presentation. |
| ° |
|
Powerful opening and closing techniques. |
| ° |
|
How to use humor effectively. |
| ° |
|
The proper use of visual aids. |
| ° |
|
How to comfortably answer questions based on your
presentation. |
| ° |
|
How to control nervousness when speaking in front of
groups. |
Who Should Attend
This workshop is for anyone who
delivers presentations to groups of any size - whether inside or outside your
organization.
Practical
Learning
This is a skills-development workshop, not
a classroom lecture. As our firm's name suggests, the training we provide is
experiential. We use simulated environments, including audiences. Participants
are asked to bring a five-minute presentation (including visuals such as
PowerPoint if appropriate), representative of the type they are likely to
deliver. Some features of this workshop are:
| ° |
|
Three opportunities to practice a portion of an actual presentation
you have delivered or plan to deliver. |
| ° |
|
Extensive feedback on the content of your presentation and on your
performance, including specific improvement suggestions. |
| ° |
|
Practice fielding questions. |
| ° |
|
Practical ideas on how to craft effective presentations. |
